Mounting guide
Built to stay up. Here's how.
Our wall bar is tested to loads up to 200 kg, and the mounting hardware is included in the box. But the right fixings for your wall depend on what that wall is actually made of.
Below is a starting point for the most common wall types. If you're not sure what your wall is made of, send us a photo before you order at info@ezoradesign.com and we'll tell you exactly what to use.
01Solid concrete
Concrete
The most straightforward wall type for a 200 kg load. The heavy-duty anchors included in the box are suited to solid concrete and will give you a secure, stud-free fixing.
Placeholder: add the specific drill bit size, anchor depth and torque guidance here once confirmed.
02Solid brick
Brick
Solid brick behaves similarly to concrete for mounting purposes, as long as you're drilling into the brick itself rather than the mortar line between bricks.
Placeholder: add specific guidance on avoiding mortar joints and any brick-specific anchor notes here.
03Aerated / cellular concrete
Aerated concrete
Aerated concrete (sometimes sold as AAC or under brand names like Ytong) is softer and more porous than solid concrete, so standard masonry anchors don't hold as well. It needs anchors rated specifically for aerated concrete.
Placeholder: confirm and list the specific aerated-concrete anchor type we recommend, and whether it ships with the ladder or needs to be bought separately.
04Plasterboard / drywall
Plasterboard
This is the wall type that needs the most care at a 200 kg rating. Wherever possible, mount directly into the wall studs behind the plasterboard rather than the board itself.
Placeholder: confirm our official guidance for stud-only vs. heavy-duty toggle anchors on plasterboard, since this affects safety - don't publish this section live until it's been properly reviewed.
